Behind the brand:
Georgia Macmillan is the talented Australian artist creating a beautiful range of digitally printed linen cushions, throws and napkins featuring her hand painted watercolours. With a background in luxury fashion PR, and currently The Grace Tales’ lifestyle editor, Georgia has a knack of knowing what people want – in this case, definitely the alluringly understated textiles she now designs.
Why we love it…
The concise collections Georgia Macmillan has released so far have an ethereal quality; choose from the muted Grey Days pieces or The Indigo Series which sees appealing inky blue tones on plump down-filled cushions that work perfectly in bright rooms and summer houses. The versatile big throws are ideal on beds, sofas and because the print matches the napkins, they make the ideal combination for the best-dressed lunch tables. Having relocated to Dubai, Georgia’s first collection emanates an enviously laidback style we all wish we could replicate, and now the interiors team at Harper’s Bazaar has picked up on the collection, we should probably get in line to buy before it’s all gone.
