Behind the brand:
Former fashion PR, Holly Anna Scarsella was influenced by summers on the Cote D’Azur and launched her beach-inspired clothing range in June 2015, creating a collection that’s laidback but stylish. Brigitte Bardot may no longer frequent La Croisette, but the glamour crowd still flock to St Tropez to hang out at Club 55, and Pampelone embodies this style with a bohemian luxe look that works equally as well on the streets of NYC and beaches of Ibiza as it does on the French Riviera.
Why we love it…
Beachwear doesn’t always mean bikinis, and some situations definitely call for a cover-up. Pampelone’s embroidered blouses, grown-up playsuits and flattering off-the-shoulder maxi dresses are just what are needed for staying cool but looking hot, at the waterfront or zipping around on a Vespa. The versatile separates can be teamed with swimwear or jeans and with clever styling will see you from sunrise until after-hours. The best thing about this affordable little label, available online or from a hand-picked selection of boutiques, is that it’s also pretty exclusive, so the chances of bumping into another beach-goer wearing the same are very slim.
