Actor Krew Boylan has just embarked on the greatest adventure of her life - motherhood. What’s more, she’s one of the dynamic women behind a powerful new production company The Dollhouse...
Krew Boylan has the most mesmerising smile. It’s a sunny winter morning in Sydney and Boylan and the GRACE team are down at Wylie’s Baths at Coogee, where the air smells of salt water and for a moment, you feel like it could be a summer’s day. No wonder we all feel like smiling. In person, the actor, writer, producer and mother is striking, engaging and real. “I was a sensitive child. It’s a helpful attribute for an actor. I was also very social, perhaps too social looking back, I wish I had read more books. My friends were the odd, funny kids, who I found interesting,” she reflects on her school days. Boylan grew up in Sydney with two sisters and was raised by parents she describes as encouraging and generous. “They were always dropping me o at the Australian Theatre For Young People, dancing classes, over to friends’ houses, between my parents’ houses or swimming squad. I was always on the move.” To see the full story, download the new GRACE magazine app via iTunes or the Google Play store.
