Avalon Lighthouse

Like with all lighthouses perched atop cliffs with a guiding light to keep ship travellers safe, the Avalon Lighthouse is perched atop Bangalley Head and as its name suggests, this abundantly light home makes you feel safe as you watch the waves crash against the renowned Avalon Headland profile and look to the ocean beyond. The approach to this home fills you with a sense of arriving somewhere that is very far away from the northern beaches with its accents of Africa, Morocco and Greece. Architect designed with heated concrete floors and a curved light filled stair well, this home is simply stunning in every way. Upon entering this beautiful and worldy space you are greeted by a sense of calm and feel immediately welcome. The kitchen is the epicentre which has eye lines to the pool, dining/living area, covered outdoor area with wood fired pizza oven, garden and dramatic cliffs that greet the pacific ocean. A rumpus room with TV onlooks the pool and provides a separate area to watch tv. An outdoor shower is on hand if you choose to go for a swim at nearby Avalon Beach which is only a five minute walk away. Bedarra Island Villa

Found on the secluded East Bedarra Island in Queensland, where the white sand beaches wrap around turquoise water framed by shady palm trees is the tropical paradise of Bedarra Island Villa. Located on the world famous Australian Great Barrier Reef, this is a signature property where you can experience a truly sultry oasis. You will find the stunning Bedarra Island Villa positioned near the waters edge on a private two-acre estate that wraps around a palm-framed white sand beach in Doorila Cove an area long considered by prominent artists, photographers, and writers as the most beautiful beach on the island. A gin and cognac bottle feature wall, a stone fireplace, bamboo paneling and a collection of original bamboo furniture items handmade by Mr. Wood all lend a unique atmosphere to the studio. There are only a small number of private homes on East Bedarra Island and there is absolutely no public access so you will never see any day-trippers or camera-happy tourists.
