New luxury children’s knitwear line Atelier/Child has launched a pop-up shop at Melbournes renowned designer concept store Le Louvre. One of the city’s most prestigious retail institutions since the 1920s and home to brands such as Lanvin, Stella McCartney and Celine, this is the first time Le Louvre has offered childrenswear. We are always on the look out for new offerings at Le Louvre. From cook books and beaded animals made in Africa to locally made olive oil and even organic compost! Whatever it is we stock, is has to be different and interesting. Atelier/Child is beautifully made, beautifully designed and has a point of difference to other childrenswear brands. It is the perfect fit for the Le Louvre client, says Le Louvre buyer Amelia Coote. According to co-founder Jessica Baird Walsh: Atelier/Child combines statement luxury with the wearability that children demand. We have sourced the finest natural yarns to create beautiful heirloom quality knits that mothers will love to own, and children will love to wear. Our baby blankets make the ultimate gift for a new baby and are a perfect eye-catching piece for every new mothers nursery or stroller. The Atelier/Child x Le Louvre pop-up runs until July 31.
