Five Pieces Our Editors Are Loving For The New Season

We quizzed our editors on what they’re loving (and buying!) for the new season…

Founder Georgie Abay

Linen Dresses

Sunny autumn days call for linen dresses in neutral tones. This is a transeasonal piece which won’t date.

Brushed Mohair Cardigan

This heavenly emerald green colour is divine. And how cozy does this cardigan look?

The Future Is Female

The Future is Female. Enough said.

The Modern Utility Jacket

The Everlane obsession continues. The perfect khaki jacket.

The Modern Loafer

As much as I’d love to splurge on the Gucci loafers, I’m coveting these Everlane loafers in this beautiful Olive shade.

Shearling Lucky Coat from Mes Demoiselles

I adore this oversized reversible shearling jacket from French label Mes Demoiselles. Surely a wardrobe staple for the Autumn/Winter season (plus I’ve never owned one and thought about it every year for at least 15 years), however finding it hard to justify while living in Singapore… thinking of the all the wear opportunities though –  visiting family in the country in Australia where it gets really cold, to Europe in winter, apres ski?! Ok, it’s an investment piece, so it may need to stay on the ‘wishlist’ but it looks like what cozy dreams are made of. And it’s reversible. So it’s really two coats. Sigh.

Isabel Marant Etoile pink sweatshirt

Love this gorgeous hue in a sporty shape from my fave Isabal Marant, and doubt I would ever get out of it (and may need to turn the air con up high here in Singapore so I can wear more!).

White Jeans from Frame

Yes, I know… there’s that thing about not wearing white in winter (’no white after Labor day’), but I think it’s the best time (not too Liz Hurley circa ’95) and love some winter whites…! This style from Frame are high-rise, high crop and perfect to pair with a slouchy or cropped sweater or oversized shearling (see above).

Colourful Roxanne Assoulin arm candy

Just love Roxanne Assoulin – the stack of arm candy is so upbeat and injects some colour and fun into the cooler season.

Tortoiseshell sunglasses from Pared X Bec & Bridge

Need some new sunnies and the new trend towards a smaller frame is just not for me, so this classic but cool pair ticks all the boxes for me, whatever the season.

Stripes and Isabel

Stripes and Isabel, my two weaknesses rolled into one.

Asima blouse

This print is so gorgeous, and I’m always looking for cute blouses and tops to wear back with denim in the colder months. Perfect for date-night.

Adidas Originals Sweatshirt

It’s a little bit university circa 2001 but I’m digging it… again.

J.Crew Tee

I love the sporty-vibe of this contrast tee.

Bassike

These pants are so sweet, and the perfect throw-on pair when doing the daycare run.

Zimmermann summer dress

Summer seems a long way off as it’s snowing here but I am dreaming of Zimmermann’s beyond heavenly summer dresses – they are all to die for.

FRAME jeans

I’m definitely going to invest in more Frame jeans – I live in denim and I’ve just discovered them. They are so comfortable, chic – and the perfect cut too.

Dune Loupe sandals

Everyone is going nuts over the Dune Loupe sandals because they are reminiscent of a certain must-have designer slide (ahem Hermes) but they also a really lovely versatile flat – I shall definitely be purchasing.

Le Specs sunglasses

I can’t wait to have fun with all the crazy sunglasses out there are at the moment – it’s the one accessory I always wear, especially on the school run. I love Le Specs as they’re playful but not expensive.

Demellier tote

I never carried a rucksack until I had children, now I can’t live without one. I’ve got my eye on Demellier as they are brilliant for toting your laptop/lunch/life with ease and they look chic.
