A decade on, Alice McCall, the woman at the helm of one of Australia’s most successful fashion labels, is showing no signs of slowing down...
Over a decade in the fashion industry and Alice McCall’s namesake label feels more relevant than ever before. It was back in 2004 that McCall left Sass & Bide to start her own fashion label. Within months, she was selling to retailers such as Barneys and dressing Kate Moss. She’s never looked back. A few months ago, Beyoncé wore the label not once but twice and the brand hit record sales. McCall now has eight retail stores (she opened the first international store in the north-eastern Chinese city of Dalian earlier this year) and over 200 stockists around the world. Her chic, playful and modern designs are shining bright and it feels like all anyone wants to wear these days is Alice McCall. See the full story in the current issue of GRACE magazine here.
