There’s nothing quite like a colourful macaroon from famed French luxury bakery and sweets maker house Ladurée, which is why The Grace Tales's editor Georgie Abay was thrilled to host an afternoon with fashion illustrator Kerrie Hess to celebrate her fabulous new collaboration with the brand...
The new limited edition ‘From Paris with Love’ collection is a series of macaroon boxes illustrated exclusively for Ladurée by the talented Hess, who has worked for luxury brands such as Chanel, Kate Spade, Louis Vuitton and Net-A-Porter and has had her work featured in publications such as VOGUE, Talter and Harper’s BAZAAR). Did we mention she’s also a mother and an author? “Illustrating packaging for Maison Ladurée was such a perfect match for me. It took me straight back to my time living in Paris. I wanted to capture the beauty and tradition of the Ladurée brand in its iconic pastel tones through paint, as well as a touch of fashion and whimsy,” says Hess. Here’s an exclusive look at the event held in the Westfield Sydney Ladurée tearoom. Photography: Emmy Etié See The Tale of Kerrie Hess here
