A glimpse inside Melbourne-based brand ambassador and mother of two Rozalia Russian’s wardrobe shows she’s just as much about practicality as she is about style...
Her polished looks include enviable high-end pieces (Chanel heels, Valentino bags…), while she’s just as happy to embrace local chain store finds and favour Aussie designers for the school run and beyond. Keen to see how she styles a week’s worth of outfits? Step right this way… Editor: Marisa Remond
What do currently have in your online carts or wish lists?
New Summer bathers for our upcoming Euro vacay. Ever since having kids I am all about the one piece and I have my eye on a few new styles from Zimmermann.
What is your go-to outfit for days with the kids?
Anything that’s comfy and easily washable, usually a great pair of denim jeans and the first top that catches my eye.
What’s your go-to date night outfit?
A pair of jeans with a cool off the shoulder top and faux fur jacket finished off with Anton diamond accessories.
What are some of your favourite stores to buy from?
For casual day to day outfits, I head into Viktoria & Woods, camilla & marc, David Jones and Seed Heritage. For a glam evening event, I head into Harrolds and then also splurge on new shoes from Miss Louise Boutique.
Has being a brand ambassador changed your style at all, if so, how?
Not at all, the only thing that has changed my style is motherhood and my age. Since turning 30, I have officially retired my denim mini shorts from my 20s.
Is there anything you won’t wear?
Denim mini shorts and leopard print.
What’s your favourite trend for winter?
Puffer jackets and how parachute tracksuits have come back into fashion. I am not only warm but extremely comfortable!
Monday
Mondays are always crazy for me as I juggle Kingston, client meetings and work commitments. I am lucky that I have been working with a lot of my clients for many years now and I am able to bring Kingston along with me. I also have to do kinder pick-up so my outfits need to be work-appropriate, yet comfortable. On this particular day, I was able to achieve this by dressing up in my tracksuit! Comfy and stylish!
SHOP: camilla and marc top, $250; camilla and marc pants; Tony Bianco boots and Chanel bag
Tuesday
I always make sure that when I am at home with the kids I don’t get distracted by my work and try and ensure I am dedicating 100% of my time to being a mum. I love taking them for a walk. We usually head to the park, cafe and do a grocery shop. At the beginning of the week, I also love stopping off at my favourite florist to buy some beautiful blooms for the week ahead. As I’m home with the kids on a Tuesday my outfits always consist of a pair of jeans, a relaxed knit jumper and a warm coat.
SHOP: Nobody Denim jeans; Viktoria and Woods jumper, $370; Viktoria and Woods coat, $700 and Louis Vuitton bag
Wednesday
Wednesdays are always work days for me and I head to my office to do a full day of meetings and planning. I work as a brand ambassador for a range of amazing companies so each week I sit down with my management team (LMB Management) to plan out marketing strategies, upcoming campaigns as well as meet with new clients.
SHOP: Victoria and Woods top; Victoria and Woods pants, $140; Valentino bag and Off White sunglasses
Thursday
On Thursdays, I am usually doing all of my photo shoots for my website as well as shoots for my clients. I am lucky that I have an incredibly supportive family who looks after my kids whilst I am working. On these days I try to make sure I head out the door early for a gym session before I arrive on set. It’s a great way to start the day and it also gives me an hour to myself for some me-time.
SHOP: Tully Lou leggings, $168; Tully Lou top, $98; Tully Lou jacket and Valentino sneakers
Friday
Every Friday my husband and I try to lock in a date night at one of our favourite restaurants. We both love Italian and Baby Pizza is one of our all-time faves as they not only have amazing food but also yummy cocktails.
SHOP: camilla and marc dress, $299 and Anton Jewellery accessories
Saturday
Saturday mornings are filled with ballet, swimming and tennis activities and lessons which means a lot of running around and driving from place to place! This also means that if the kids have lessons I am able to sneak off for a quick coffee around the corner while they’re in class.
SHOP: Nobody Denim top, $149; Nobody Denim skirt, $169 and Chanel bag
Sunday
From Monday through Saturday I am up at 6 am to get myself ready before the kids wake up at 7 am. As my schedule on these days are back to back and can be a mad rush, I find that getting up at 6 am to get ready, shower and have a cup of tea before the day begins is extremely important to me. However, on Sunday I wake up when the kids wake up and we just ease our way into the day together. This can mean staying in my bathrobe and not rushing out the door like every other day of the week!
SHOP: Morgan and Finch bathrobe, $67.50 and Off White sunglasses
